ok I did it. I called and cancelled my **sigh** Pier One Imports card and my Sears card. Yeah for me. Ugh no more shopping :-( That is ok. I have plenty of stuff to do around the house. I am still having real issues with my weight. I seems to have no will power at all. I simply cannot be around food. If it is there I will eat it. This all began when I started taking Celexa. I am going to talk to my dr. about it, also the **other** side effect has not gone away and is begining to get rather umm.. frusturating no pun intended. hehehe

Haley is at the YMCA tonight with one of her girlfriends. They are swimming. We had to get her a new bathing suit because there was no way she could fit into last years. She picked out this really cool blue/glitter covered camoflage(sp?) bikini.

Cameron has had the whole house to himself tonight. He and Steve played checkers and Cameron finished his homework.

I had a plain cheese sandwich for dinner and a small bowl of Edy's chocolate fudge, fat free, sugar free ice cream for dessert. I am starving. Oh well. It dosen't matter. Hunger goes away in time. I think I am going to go read for a bit. Then go to bed.

Good night :-)

I have decided I should start a new blog and I'll call it Adventures at Night with Cameron. This morning in my bed: the forbidden toys-knex-, one little boy with chocolate covered face and crusted spagetti sauce, next to the bed a bowl of dried Ragu sauce -noodles are all gone-, a can of chocolate frosting with spoon. Let's walk downstairs, ahhhh there it is on the table, puddles of Edy's chocolate fudge fat free no sugar added ice cream, the foil top and lid to the frosting. Upon waking Cam this morning I told him I was a little upset with him. I asked him if he knew why and he replied "oh, I brought Knex into the bed". HAHAHAHAHAHA I wonder if I could chain him up at night??

Side note Sarah I still have not been able to fix my archives. If you have some time to day do think you could help me. I looked at the Blogger How To discussion stuff but none of it said how to replace the code if you accidentally delete it. Thanks a bunch.

Victory!!!! Cam's carpet is gone gone gone, ok it's laying in the backyard, but it is NOT in the house anymore. I am trying to convince Steve that we should take our carpet out too, But he said that one more years isn't going to kill us. It is just that now we took out Cam's our room is the only one left with carpet and I am concerend that the dogs will start peeing in our room next. The dogs are very jealous and are spiteful. Steve doesn't believe me. But I know they are. Anyway Trash Day isn't till next Saturday. So we have a whole week to get all the junk out of the house (maybe our carpet too) we will see.

Cam thanked me profusely for taking out his carpet. Then he reminded me that he would like me to paint his room. He wants it red, white and blue. I asked him what color he wants the walls. He said "I will draw you a picture of what fashion I would like my room painted". Hehehehe what a kid.

Haley has her friend Jacy over today. I like pre-teens even less now. Ugh I would not wnat to be one now if my life depended on it. I certainly hope I was not as irritating as these girls are. Chat Chat Chat Giggle Giggle Giggle TeeheeTeeheeTeehee. Ahhhhhhhh they are driving me crazy.

Ok I am better now.

I should go be productive

Have a great day :-)

good morning I feel very rested this morning. I actually slept till 8:00 !!! I am rather disapointed because now that I have a place to post family pictures and renovation pictures, my scanner is dead. Everything I tried to scan came out blue :-(. But Joe being the awesome guy he is said he would scan them for me!!!!! So hopefully he'll have them done by Monday. That way I can post them on Tuesday, my next day off.

Well we finally solved the music problem with Haley. In case I didn't mention before all the music she wants to listen to is full of, well sexual images and such. Steve found a website that you can download mp3's from so now we can download all the songs we feel that are ok for her to listen to rather than banning her from listening to the radio. She is very happy. They got a lot of songs from Pink and Linkin Park. Which we all happen to like. I did a search for Ani DiFranco and came up with every song and then some :-) I don't know where Steve put the link but I'll post it as soon as I find it.

Not much else is going on. Joel came up for his birthday yesterday. We gave him his gift. It was a door knocker. But not just any door knocker. It is at least 2 ft long. It looks like the head of a greek god, with the knocker held between his teeth. Really cool, a bit scary. Very gothic. Just up Joel's ally.

Well I have to fix Haley's comments section and try to revive my dead archives.

Yeah I am going to see my Sarah!!! Mom if you are nice I just might stop by to see you too :-) Mother's Day weekend should be fun. I told the kids and they both were very excited. Haley esp. because she really wants to see Maya. Sarah I'll have to post a more up dated photo. Maybe I'll get to that tonight. Steve has requested that I clean the house today while he is at the grocery store. We are having company tomorrow and Sunday. It is Steve's friend Joel's B-day today. So we are having him up for dinner and gamming. The kids really like him. So I slept most of the day today. I am afraid I have been bleeding like a stuck pig for most of the day, and well that has kind of discouraged any kind of energy expenditure other than sleeping. :-( My house is a wreck.

Cam was up agin last night "cooking". We wont even get into the buttery knives and jelly and peanut buttery knives, the upside down plate with jelly all over the bottom of it, the muffin pan with melted chocolate bars in it -(side note: I asked him this morning how the choco thing happened, I asked if he (goddess forbid) used the oven, he said no (in that don't be so dumb I would never use the oven voice) I put it in the microwave)- did i mention that our muffin pan like many other muffin pans are, is METAL! Then after traveling into the comp. room I found my mouse covered with chocolate handprints and broken bits if chocolate all over my mouse pad. Needless to say, my mouse is not very fluid today.

I got up at 6 to do Haley's hair for the dance. She wanted it spiral curled. So I found the smallest curling iron I have, 1/4 in. It only took about 30 mins. She has sooooo much hair. I can't believe how thick it is.

Cameron had his first gifted class yesterday. Mrs. Smeltz sent home a note saying that Cam was very intrested and quite enjoyed the class.

I did some more work on my other page. I may have to take a break from the computer over the weekend since we will be having company.

Ok I should go clean. Bad monsters picked up the house and shook it while I was sleeping. I should try to develope an anti-monster device to keep them away while I am sleeping.

Still not feeling much better this morning. I think I'll go back to bed, now that the kids are off to school. Cameron had a delightful morning. Not a single problem. He finially went to sleep at midnight. I stayed up till then to make sure he was sleeping. He was a bit groggy this morning. But overall we had a good morning.

Haley's bio dad called me last night. Apparently she is being rather manipulative and demanding while she is there every other weekend. She really wanted to get a halter top this week. I told her no. She is 11 and has no business wearing a halter top. Anyway while at her dad's this past weekend she tried to get him to buy one. Fortunatly he is so creeped out about the fact that she has breast now that he said no way. She also has some kind of obession about not brushing her teeth. I think she is trying to get into the world record book for the "Longest Time Teeth Have Not Been Brushed in a Developed Country". We even got her a cool spinning tooth brush. They are for lazy people like me :-P All you have to do is turn it on and move it around a bit. It works pretty much all by itself. And she praticaly refused to brush her teeth still. I give up.

Steve still isn't home yet. He stayed in Harrisburg after work so he could get the new tires for the metro. It needs to be inspected this weekend. And tires are a must.

Well I think I will go back to bed.

Well today I think someone filled my head with helium when I wasn't looking. I do not feel myself at all. I even left work at 10:45 am. I was suppose to work till 4pm. I got home and promptly went to bed. Where I stayed till the kids came home from school. I managed to get up and have Cam get his homework done, and cook some dinner for myself and the kids. Steve was having stir fry. ( the kids did too) In addition to the (don't cringe) Tuna Helper I cooked. I would have much rather had homemade tuna casserole, but alas I did not have all the ingredients. Then I went back to bed at 5 and slept some more till 7 and now I am getting ready to go back to bed. Did I mention that i am losing fist fulls of hair again. I think it is time to get my thyroid checked. I have a drs. check up in two weeks, so I'll ask him to draw blood for that in adition to the general blood work to check that all is balanced. I am sleeping way to much for not being depressed. Also I should have my kidneys checked for protein.

Cameron's new dose seems to be a great improvment. He has been so calm this evening. He got his homeowrk done with no problems. He been sitting here next to me playing Lego Racers and not running in circles at all tonight. He has done everything asked of him, brushing his teeth and getting his bath. Now for the real test. Bedtime. I think we will read a bit and I'll let him sleep with me if he wants too.

Well off to bed then. Goodnight :-)

So we are back from the doctor. Ok we are increasing Cameron's Comcerta from 36mg. to 54mg. He should have a higher peak and a longer lasting effect. Also if this dosage of Concerta dosen't help with Cam's *issues* then we will investigate the possibility of him also being obsessive-compulsive. We'll see. A few other note of intrest. Cam may also be hypoglycemic. Interesting huh. This could explain the daily headaches before lunch and the ravenous eating at night. He is mainly eating high carb. foods at night. We'll try high protein to see if that dosen't reduce the nightly feeding binges. He is going to have a fasting glycohemiblogin A1C done and a test for blood clotting as well. He has been having profuse nose bleeds for about a year now on a regular basis. If that test comes back normal then it is probably an abnormal vein that needs to be cauterized (sp?). Let's see is there anything else??? The only other thing would be that Cam starts the Gifted Program next Thursday. He'll meet with the other kids and Mrs.Smeltz every Thursday morning.

Haley really wants to be a cheerleader. With her going to her bio-dads every other weekend I don't know how we will pull this one off. But I would like to try for her. I am a little concerned with her intrest in cheering. It appears as tho the *popular* girls cheer and I know Haley desperately wants to fit with that clique wether she admits it to herself or not. So what do I do. We have been encouraging her all along to become active in the art and writing clubs. Which she has and those are things she is naturally talented at. But this cheering thing is going to be a stuggle for her and I don't hink she realizes it. I want her to be happy but she is so up and down right know. I don't really know how to help. We talk after school everyday about what is going on with her and her friends. Listening to her makes me realize why I had guy friends in school instead of lots of girlfriends. They are so caddy and back-stabbing. Ugh, I would not want to have to it over agin. I just listen and try to give generic advice because her big thing now is that "everyone is telling her what to do and we are oppressing her". I remember feeling like that too, but hind sight is always 20 20. Oh the joys of having a pre-teen. Well I have 2 newspapers to read. The city one and our little bi-monthly local one.

On the table this morning: buttery knife, peanut buttery knife, spoon covered in brown sugar, lots of globs of grape jelly, hunks of dried brown sugar. Next to the toaster: 1/4 loaf of bread scattered on the counter geting stale. On the counter next to the microwave: 2 empty packages of ramen, 1 empty package of ramen seasoning, bits of uncooked ramen. In the living room on the piano bench: 1/4 filled jug of milk, empty glass with straw, 1/2 eaten bowl of ramen. On the couch: 1 little boy covered in a blue bath towel wearing his sisters long flannel nighgown sleeping peacefully.

Ahhhhh, the joys of having a child who only sleeps from 1am till 7am. Would it be cruel to lock him in his room at 9pm??? Did I mention that he only sleeps from 1am till 7am no naps during the day nope not a one :-P

Going to the doc. today. Hopefully she will have some insight or sleeping pills (hehehe) for us.

Today was a great day. We got lots of thing done. The tile is now done. And the toilet should be finished this week I hope. I bought some flowers. Ihope to get them planted tomorrow. Cameron has a doctors appointment on fri. For a re-evaluation of his meds and his adhd. I hould probably get to bed as I have to be up at 3 am. It was a high of 91 yesterday. And most likely just as high today. It is very muggy in the house right now. Steve actually put the air conditioner in our bed room. And yes he had it tunred on. Tomorrow is a long day at work 5-4 and then Haley has several art projects in the art exhibit at school tomorrow night. I can't wait to go and see them. She can be so cool sometimes. :-P

ok can we say just a little too much time on the computer already today??? I did go out and paint the second coat of paint on the heaters. Next thing is to clean up the bathroom so we ca finish the tile. I frosted the window in there, and Cameron thought it was steam after his bath. He drew some pictures and messed up the window. I guess I can scrape it off and do it again. I should probably go find something a little more productive than this.

It is going to be another beautiful day toady. It was near the 80'syesterday. And boy is it sunny. I hope to get some house projects finished today. I really would like to get the stupid bathroom finished . Steve has some work to do on the Metro before it gets inspected. Cameron asked me If we could go on a date after he get's home from school today. Maybe I'll take him to the corner store and we'll get ice cream. I got sucked into the tv last night. It was the first time in about 3 weeks since i sat down to watch it. It is nice that we have the digital cable because we have the tv blocked off all day. It only comes on from 4pm to 8 pm. But I can put in the parental code to watch whatever I want. I layed down on the couch around 7:30 last night then the next thing I know it is 12:30 eeeeek!! Oh well I did need some veg time.

Ok so I made a deal to myself. I am going to try to ride my bike 1 mile a day. You laugh haha. I rode one mile last night and it felt like the six fingered man had hooked me up to the life sucking machine. I am so out of shape. But 1 mile a night isn't asking too much. It took about 5 minutes. The school is just across the street so I could add a trip through the parking lot if I felt energetic. Steve and I both are disgusted at our winter weight gain. It isn't like we sit around and eat all the time or even some of the time. Heck we don't even keep junkfood in the house. If you look in the snack cabinet you'll find a sleeve of saltines and maybe some tortila chips. We don't eat in the living room anymore. So that cuts out the watching the tv and chowing down problem. We just have become inactive. I blame it on our work scheduels but if it is really that important to me I think I could manage to find just a few minutes here and there. So there is it. One mile a day 5 days a week. I don't think that is too much to ask.

Well I got up early so I think I am going to take a little nap, then tackle that bathroom. Maybe I get lucky and Steve will take me out to lunch today :-) Sarah I hope you have a good day today. I'll try to catch up with you later :-P

The class sizes are about 20 kids per class. The pricing of houses. Dirt cheap. Things I dislike about living in a rural are. It takes me an hour to get to work. The only shopping store is Ames. There are no coffee shops. I haven't found a bookstore yet in the 5 years we have lived here. Yet there are chruches every 3 miles. I suppose I am done complaining now. oh what a busy morning. I woke up at 4:30 after going to bed at 12. I finished reading 'Tis. Then worked on Haley's blog. Haley was up and ready to have me do her hair for school today. Since the dance is right afer school we had to fix her hair this morning. Then her bus was early so she missed it. So we drove across the street to the school to drop her off. Then back to the house to wake Cameron. He had to finish his homework from yesterday. I was quite surprised when I woke him up because he was dry. We ran out of Pull-Ups and he had to sleep in regular undies. I was expecting to have to wash sheets and shower him this morning, but much to my delight I had to do neither. He sleeps like the dead and doesn't wake up to go during the night. But from what I read most boys do not obtain night-time bladder control until they are a bit older than Cam.

I must brag a bit. I am so delighted with myself for learning some of the HTML stuff. I always thought it was beyond me. But with a lot of encouragement from my beloved Sarah I accomplished setting up Haley's blog. Thanks a ton my lovely Sarah. I don't know where I'd be without you. And I mean that on many fronts :-)

Today at work we are having our Operations Audit. The thing that has caused so much stress over the last month. However I have off today. Joe said he would call me with the results. I am sure we will score well. We put enough overtime in to get ready for it. At least that stress is gone now.

Well I think I will go hunting for a bit of breakfast. Today is grocery day. There isn't much in the cupboard :-(. Steve and I are going back to the Acrh. salvage center to look at the sinks again. Then out to Pizza Hut for lunch. I really enjoy having off in the middle of the week. It gives us so much need time to spend alone nad just hang out with each other. I believe that this time together have improved our communications and how we see and treat each other. Ok off to find food :-)

We found a corner sink that will be perfect in the upstairs bathroom. So since I have to go to York on Friday to get Cam's galsses fixed, I'll pick the sink up also. I have been working on Blog for Haley. But have run into some trouble as this is my first time using all this high tech information. Hopefully my dearest friend will be able to give me a hand:-P Other than that not much else is going on. Haley has a dance at school on Friday. She is very much looking forward to it. Cameron is just the same. His teacher called and said she is concerned that he is not respondng well to his meds. He is having difficulties concentrating during class and dealing with his emotions. We have an appointment next Friday with his doctor for another evaluation. I am going to talk to my doctor about my celexa. I have gained a considerable amount of weight since I started taking it. We had a little bit of candy and then got Auntie Ann's pretzels afterward. Cam napped on the way home and is watching cartoons now. I am off to get a quick shower and crawl into bed. Steve has been shopping all day. Our anniversery is on wednesday. He claims that he has an appointment tomorrow and is getting a tattoo. I don't believe him. well... I spoke with the school psychologist today, Danny, about Cameron's second go round on the gifted tests. He tested very superior on the reading part coming in at a 4.2 grade level. And a 2.8 gl on the comprehension which makes his grand total a 3.3 in language over all. yeah! On the math area he came in at a 2.6 gl. which is considered above average but not superior because it is 2 months shy of a complete grade level. So the results stand as this. Danny is requesting that Cam be allowed to participate in the gifited program because of his superior language ablilties and the other fact that he completed 6 months of learning in 3 months, in comparision to his last scores 3 months ago. He went up 6 months in grade levels in 3 months. Does any of that make sense?? Ok so that is all good and stuff but do you think this teacher could teach him the importance of not bringing chocolate chips into your parents bed?? He did it again last night. Steve was the one to discover the chocolaty surprise thank goodness!! I think I would have had a major melt down. Well I think I am going back to bed now. I am very sleepy tonight. (I just woke up from a little nap) I have had an awful migrane this week. I think I will have to go to the doc. next week about it. I also need to get refill on all of my insulins and needles. Then we had ice cream cones and walked around Strawberry Square (it use to be an outdoor square then someone covered it and now it is an indoor square) they have little shops and lot of food stuff and a little ice cream stand. Then we went grocery shopping and now we have full cupboards and I am off to clean the house. I think a monster picked it up and shook it while I was sleeping yesterday.

why can't cameron get himself dressed in the morning? i do not understand this. he can't even pick out his clothes. and even when they are picked out for him it takes him 20 min. to dress himself. urghhhhh. i just went to the attic to see how the door stripping turned out. and it is beautiful! hopefully i'll get the other side done tonight. then i can paint and hang. i bet you are all wondering about the state of the bathroom since i have failed to mention it. well we need to buy a few odds and ends before the plumbing can be hooked up so... it has come to a stand still :-( damn money ! soon i am hoping. so to pass the time i am working on projects that i already have the stuff for. maybe if i get really industrious i'll paint the basement floor where the washer and dryer are going. we'll see. we ran out of money till i get paid next week. so sad.

Ok so i won't bore you by complaining about work. All i am going ot say is that is had better get better very soon, or else i think i'll have to double my celexa. i slept most of yesterday afternoon till earlier this evening. i guess i was behind. i just finished stripping one side of the door that is going into the living room. Previous owners removed most of the doors in the house, but they put them in the attic. Which is nice because all that is on them is one coat of varnish and one coat of paint. i hope to finish the other side tomorrow. Steve and i are going to meet with our bank guy tomorrow. We decided to get a loan to pay off our credit cards. The intrest rates on the cards are killer. well i am going to veg on the couch for nowand zone out to the tube.

yes, I am still alive. Work has been awful and I have been under so much stress that I now have a constant eye twitch! So, the stress has kept me from doing much of anything including sleeping. yuck. I will try to blog later tonight and give more detailed goings on then.
